The Four of Rods - #TarotImageTuesday

This week, it's the Four of Rods, and I've selected the Ellis decK.
This is a lovely image from this deck - it's bright and airy and always conjures up the smell of the earth and greenery just after a light rainfall...the four rods form a shelter for the Kitsune sat beneath them, their roots deep in the ground, confirming the stability, while he looks out at the happy family scene beyond, and, despite the rain, the sun peeps through the clouds.
Now is the perfect time to rest, to check the structure for leaks, and to take pause to enjoy this moment on the journey. They've climbed this particular hill, and, whether they are revitalised by dancing in the rain or taking shelter from it, it's important to include some level of comfort, enjoyment, pleasure, celebration and appreciation of stability and structure in the journey.
Even though it's a Rods card, and therefore associated with Fire, this version smoothly incorporates all the different elements - the earth that helps provide that stability, the water as it falls gently to refresh the scene, and the air with the clouds as the clear view from the hill as they survey their onwards journey, following this respite...as well as the Fire from the Rods and the sun as it shines in the distance, encouraging them onwards to joy.
